Doma Consolidating, or Doma Shipping, is one of the largest international parcel service companies dedicated to providing fast and efficient door to door parcel service from the US to Poland. The process is quite simple! Once a gift parcel is ready to be sent to a loved one, all the sender has to do is contact the nearest Doma Center or Doma Agent. One of our amicable customer service representatives will then either schedule a pick up from the location of the sender’s choice, or notify him/her of the nearest Doma affiliated drop off location. The parcel will be consolidated with other cargo intended for the same destination. Doma consolidates shipments (which are also known as groupage) to Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and even Russia.
Once the consolidated container is ready to be shipped, the container is taken from Doma’s warehouse and trucked to the local train depot. The container travels via train until the eastern port of export, where it is deposited onto a steamship vessel. The cargo will travel along with many other containers, until their destination port in Europe. From there, regardless of the final destination, the container passes through Doma’s complete network of distribution agents- this includes a central bonded warehouse facility in Warsaw. All parcels will pass through customs at this Warsaw warehouse facility, before being released to the consignee.
